I want to be sexy, not beautiful, but sexy. When I think of sexy I think of Rihanna, Solange and my sister Udoka. To be a bit more specific I think of these images in particular: Now what makes them sexy? Is it because they are showing skin? Have nice, barely covering, clothes on? I used to think so, but after falling gravely ill, I no longer think so. My hope for this post is that it can also encourage the same change of thought in you, and maybe even encourage you to also pursue sexiness.
1. I hope your health is much more stable now and that you grow in strength
2. This path is one I've considered, and ultimately I found a lot of fun in exploring salsa/bachata and learning to take 'exuding a winning energy' in dance to more everyday contexts. (Still very much a work in progress)
3. You capture a sentiment and thought that is worth sitting with. We live in a culture where sexiness means so much, so thanks for articulating a great perspective to ponder :)
In pursuit of Sexiness
One of the best takes on the topic of sexiness and confidence I’ve read!
Hi Adaobi - this was very deep. ~

Hi Adaobi, I hope you are much better now. Take care and be sexy.
It was extremely good, down to earth and real! I must say that I also feel way more sexy :) Thanks
