Credentials these days are just "symbols" that are used both as a metric and a target, that's why your article from 2020 on Goodhart's law is relevant, if you can get the "big" institutions on your portfolio, then you assured to be ranked higher than others.

I was thinking last week about how my best movies always receive poor reviews from critics. I began asking myself If I have poor taste or the critics just have a problem with everything.

Some other overlooked problems that I also wish more people were applying themselves to are:

1) Risk pricing (Humans should have tools to estimate risks better in all areas of their lives using all the data we have accumulated so far.)

2) Simulations (Humans should have more tools to simulate their course of actions. This will drastically reduce the cost of experimentation via trial and error.)

3) Meta cognition (Humans should have tools that can help them become better thinkers and decision makers by reducing biases, fallacies and mitigating a lot of our natural cognitive deficiencies.)
